Why change the description of Jesus or God?  Think about it.  In the King James Version the translators indicated when they added any words to try to make a sentence easier to understand.  None of the important words in this list were added.  That meant they were actually written in the Arabic texts.

Is "truth" different from "truth in Christ"?   Is a "firstborn Son" different from a "son"?  Of course they are!

Why leave out words?  There is a big difference in "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God" and "man does not live on bread alone"!  Isn't "Get thee behind me, Satan" important?

If we are to believe that God had His hand on the authors of the Bible then we also have to believe that every word is important.

Look up the words yourself in a concordance.

Satan doesn't seem to be able to get rid of Bibles, but maybe he is changing them to minimize their power.

*Even the NIV, the translation that was just supposed to make the Bible easier to understand in today's language, has changed the Word of God.  The original NIV from the 1960's has been updated to a 2011 version.  The scripture from Acts 3:19 was changed from their 1960 version Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord*) to read Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.  The first version had changed the meaning as written in the KJV.  Their 2011 version made it closer to the original meaning, but it is still not correct.
