GOD’S HUG

Separator

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!”
Matthew 23: 37

There have been two times in my life when my heart was broken and I prayed for every person in the world who was facing trials and pain. So, I have prayed for you because all of us experience pain, be it emotional or physical.

Yesterday, when Baby, my parakeet, was on my arm walking up and down and playing with my fingers, I was filled with an overwhelming desire to put my arms around her and give her a big hug. Of course, I could not do that to a parakeet.

Jesus is looking down on us and longs to put His Arms of Love and Compassion around us and hug us. However, He is not here, He has left you and me to hug each other for Him. When is the last time you gave someone a hug from Jesus? I am not talking about hugging your spouse, children, family, or friends just because you love them. When is the last time you hugged your family and friends and said this hug is from Jesus because He Loves you?

How we must break the Heart of Jesus because we will not extend His Love to others as He asks us to do! Let’s make a special effort to hug someone and tell that person that this hug is not from me, it is from Jesus because He Loves you.
