JUST AS GUILTY

"If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. "
James 2:8-11

We are so quick to criticize and judge others, however we try to make excuses for our sins.  The Bible clearly says in these verses that if we treat one person better than another person, we commit sin.

Someone once made the comment, "I’m tired of you lying to me".  Yet, I have heard that same person cursing and taking God’s Name in vain.  That person is also guilty of lying according to the Bible.

None of us are perfect; all of us sin every day of our lives.  Sometimes, we do it without realizing it.  However, sometimes we choose to sin.  Every time we do something that we know is against what Jesus has said not to do, then it is sin.

Instead of pointing the finger at others, ask God to forgive you for your sins.  If you could see Jesus face to face today, would you be able to look Him in the eyes with a clean heart?
