DO YOU KNOW JESUS? “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 For years I wanted to know the Heart of Jesus, but I didn’t know how to find Him. I had never seen the difference that Jesus can make in anyone that I had met. When I read this verse, I knew God had given me the answer to my prayers. I wanted to know Jesus on an intimate basis. I wanted to know what made Him laugh and what made Him cry. It is my heart’s desire to make Jesus happy. He has done so much for me. He rescued me from under a bed in a mental hospital and sat me in His Lap of Love and Understanding. Do you know the Heart of Jesus? You may believe in Him, prayed the sinner’s prayer, and are assured of a Home in Heaven, but do you really know Him? Do you know how it hurts Him when we ignore Him most of the day because we are too involved in our own busy schedules? How much do you desire to know Jesus? If you really want to make Him happy, then get to know Him. Have you any concept of how much He Loves you and has done for you, or do you even care?
