A PICTURE OF GOD

Separator

“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”
Psalm 27:4

We take pictures when a baby is born and show them to family and friends.  We take pictures, as the baby grows older and show them to everyone we meet.  I was fifty-seven years old before I ever saw a picture of God.  The first time I ever saw the Beauty of Jesus was when I saw a Bill Gaither Homecoming Video.  I saw Jesus in the faces of the singers.

If we claim to be a child of God, then we need to let others see Him in our actions, speech, and on our faces.  Our eyes should be sparkling with the Joy of Jesus.  The words that come out of our lips should be drawing others closer to Jesus.  We should be wearing smiles most of the time.

When others look at you do they see the smiles of Jesus, or do they see the frowns of satan?  Are your eyes sparkling with the Love of Jesus, or are they filled with hatred and bitterness showing the traits of satan?
