GOD’S PRAISE TEAM

Separator

“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
Psalm 34:1-3

We have sports that have teams such as football, baseball, and basketball.  I have read articles where people have practiced for years to make a team.  I wonder how much we practice and how much we desire to make God’s Praise Team.

The verse says, “His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  I read that verse for years and didn’t take it to heart until one day, God spoke to me and said, “you need to praise Me.”  So, I started doing that. I started training myself when I woke up at night to go to the bathroom to start singing praise songs to Jesus.  At first, it woke me up and I couldn’t go back to sleep for an hour or so.  Now, I get excited about being able to praise Jesus in the middle of the night.

It is very sad that people will train for years and sacrifice and spend a lot of money on equipment for sports, but are not willing to invest their lives training to be on God’s Praise Team. It also breaks the Heart of Jesus.  What about you, are you praising God when you wake up at night?  If not, then I submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that you need to start training to be a member of God’s Praise Team.
