GOD’S TIP

Separator

"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk."
Acts 3:6

Last month I ordered a pizza and then realized I didn’t have any money for a tip, so I gave the deliveryman one of my writings as a tip. When he got in his car, I saw him reading both pages. When he had finished reading, he lifted his hand up toward Heaven. Sometimes we don’t have the money for tips, but we can give what we have. If you have the Love of Jesus in your heart, you can give that to someone.

All of us can smile at someone. There have been many, many times during the years that I was in such deep depression that when someone smiled at me, it helped me through another day. Have you smiled at someone today? Have you smiled at your spouse and children, or have you criticized them?

When is the last time that you told your pastor that you appreciated him? I have received many emails from pastors who have said that they, too, need encouragement. Some of us have the mistaken idea that a pastor’s life is all rosy and perfect. That is not true, they get discouraged, tired and frustrated just like we do. Please encourage your pastor. He has been called by God and we need to let him know how much we appreciate him and his family.

I urge you to reach out to someone and give that person the Love of Jesus through your actions and words. Remember, you can talk all day about the Love of Jesus, but if you never show the Love of Jesus by your actions, people will not believe you.
