YES WE DO

“Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.”
Matthew 24:69-72

There was a time in my life when I was ashamed to carry the Bible.  I would hide it in my purse for fear of being ridiculed.  I was denying Jesus.  Are you denying Jesus by your actions and words?

I think that we hurt the Heart of Jesus when we have a conversation with someone and never mention His Name.  We brag about our children and family, but do we brag about Jesus?  We go out to eat with friends and family, but do we ever talk about how much Jesus means to us and how He has provided for us and protected us?  May God forgive us for denying Jesus!

When we won’t even mention the name of Jesus, we are just as guilty as Peter was when he said, “I do not know the man.”  Every day of our lives, every one of us deny Jesus in some way, either by our words or actions.

I challenge all of us to start bragging on Jesus and showing His Picture.  When others look at you, do they see the Eyes and Smiles of Jesus, or do they see satan in your attitude?
