THE “RIFLE RANGE” OF GOD
"To qualify on the "rifle range of God" we must hit the bull's-eye. This symbolic designation is given to point us to a place of accountability and trustworthiness related to the expression of His revealed Word and hidden manna for this generation. All aspects of the Body of Christ will be judged on their ability to “hit the target,” which is the Spirit of Truth." Everything that we do in this hour will be measured and judged according to the Spirit of Truth.
Missing the Mark
The word 'sin' has various shades of meaning in the Bible. if we are to give it a primary meaning, it would be 'missing the mark!' "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own [authority,] but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come." (John 16:13)
We
must hit the target in the “bull's-eye.” It is not enough for God’s
marksmen/followers to simply hit the target.
Note
please!
The Bull's Eye Story
There was this General riding his horse through the country on his way to somewhere ________ ( you fill in the blank!) As this General is riding along a country lane he see a big barn with 'bull's-eyes' painted all over it! Dozens and dozens of bull's-eyes someone had been doing target practice and all.....I mean every one of the bull's-eyes had shots dead center!
This General was so impressed that he stopped at this farm and inquired of the owner of the barn about the bull's-eyes. The owner (for the sake of the story we will call him...Brown...better yet.....McDonald!) Old McDonald started telling the General about the barn and all the bull's eyes.
"Well," say Old McDonald, "Those bull's eyes were done by a fellow named Raymond...he's a little odd!"The General speaks up and says, "Odd, I don't care how odd he is!" Anyone that can shoot like that, well I need this man in my army!"
"Well," says Old McDonald, "It ain't what you think! You see, General, Raymond shoots at the old barn....then he goes and paints bull's eyes around the bullet hole!" I could go on and point out the moral of this story, but I believe you got the
'bull's-eye'...point!
