Orange Juice
Redemption
Acts 3:20-21
"And He shall send
Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Whom the heaven
must receive until the times of restoration
of all things, which God
hath spoken by the mouth of all
His holy prophets
since the world began."
Salvation and
orange juice have something in common!
The Greek word for
restoration is "Apokatastasis" which means
"Reconstitution"!
So, where have we heard this
'word'?
Reconstituted
Orange Juice, of course!
Reconstituted:
Reconstituted
orange juice has been taken apart and put back together.
This is a picture
of redemption.
PLANTED "I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all [kind of] fruits:"
Ecclesiastes 2:5
PREPARED
"But as it is written, Eye
hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the
things which God hath prepared
for them that love him."
2 Corinthians 2:9
PICKED
(ordained)
"Ye have not chosen me, but
I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask
of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
John 15:16
PEELED
(naked)
"Neither is there
any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are]
naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do."
Hebrews 4:13
PRESSED
"I press
toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:14
PASTEURIZED
(heated by fire)
"Beloved, think it not
strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened unto you:"
1 Peter 4:12
PROCESSED
(a series of actions directed toward a
particular aim)
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore
comfort one another with these words."
1
Thessalonians 4:16-18
When God redeems the world He will take all the pieces and put them
back together, adding the 'water of His Spirit' that we might become complete
in Him.
"That
he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might
present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any
such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."
Ephesians 5:26-27
Oh, the blessed life is a 'reconstituted one'...
like the orange juice!
"O taste and see that
the LORD is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him."
Psalm 34:8
