CONTEMPLATING THE MIRACLE OF GOD'S LOVE |
Love in
the Midst
In the
midst of daily struggles, I know the meaning of Your love.
Even
little misunderstandings bring me closer to You above.
As the dawn breaks each morning, through pink clouds or gray, I eagerly look forward to sharing time with You another day. Your patience with my restlessness, Your kindness despite my faults, Only You can give this kind of love; giving - yet maybe receiving naught. I find the more I try to understand, the less I need to know. Your love is not to be defined, because it continues to grow. When I recognize Your love inside me, and allow it to come out Through smiles, kind words or gentle deeds, that's when I want to shout! You did it! I can't love like this on my own! You poured Your love right through me with joy I've never known. Joy really is more than happiness; even in sadness it can dwell. And the most amazing part, I have Your heart, causing mine to swell. Compassion for people, never giving up on them, encouraging to the end. Your love grows by giving it away, and that comes only from a Friend. In spite of our accusations or greed or playing the game You reach out to each of us, and freely love each the same. Love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12 When two or more are gathered together in My name, I am there in your midst. Matthew 18:20 |

So questions are
pursuing you? So struggles are
weakening you? So murmuring has
come against you? So you have felt
lost? So death seems
imminent? So much seems
undone? So you have seemed
alone? So you have felt
unworthy? No matter what comes against you, I love you |
