Have you ever wondered
what it was like for Adam to walk in the Garden of Eden with Papa and
be able to talk with Him? That’s what He created us for and
that’s the relationship we should be striving for now.
We can still have that relationship. Now it involves one thing we hate
to give up. That one thing is “the Self Within Us”.
Can you imagine how grand it would have been for Papa to walk with us
and say, “You name these animals. I give you the authority over all of
them,” to be able to call Him and He would be right there to help and
to have His glorious presence there to hold us and help us and to
teach us of His Glory?
In Romans 8:14 He tells us, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, they are the sons of God.” To think we, God’s creation, throw
that heritage away all for self. I for one, after destroying my body
for selfishness, have finally come to my senses and am claiming my
heritage back. The only way I can do that is to become nothing and for
Him to become everything. For if I don’t die daily, I cannot live. My
deepest prayer is to know all His Ways and to truly become His
servant.
