As you may have guessed, I've been very busy.

The 22nd of December Charlie and I went up to his folks' house near Clearlake, CA to pack them up and move them down closer to us. They had already packed up a lot of boxes, but we spent around four more days packing.

We rented a truck that was supposed to move a 4-bedroom 2,000 foot house.  There was so much stuff we had to stay another day and rent a 6'x12' trailer. We played "sideways Tetris" and filled both to the maximum as well as stacked things in the bed of our pickup. Everything wouldn't have fit if they hadn't sold their three couches.

The thing is, they moved into a 796 square foot apartment!  Most of the boxes are at our house waiting to be gone through.  The things they need were boxed separately and are finally all unpacked in their apartment.

I've been going over there every day to help.  My husband built a bunch of shelves in the pantry.  We finally finished those yesterday.

Today there are a couple of boxes I need to find in our garage that go in the kitchen.  It's not going to be easy to find them.  You should see all the boxes in there.  Our barn has tons of boxes as well.

Once we finish hanging the TV's and pictures on the walls then it will pretty much be done.

Up until yesterday I was bringing boxes of items that they no longer wanted home to put in a pile to sell at a yard sale.

Some day, after we go through all the boxes here (I guess there are probably 100 or so) we will be having a ginormous, huge-arific, massiveogamous yard sale.

When I get some spare time I try to catch up on things here, around the house.

Today might be one of the last days I go over to my in-laws' to work.  I want to help get the pantry and kitchen settled and get some pictures up on the walls.  Tomorrow I'm planning on getting my Christmas decorations put away here at my house.

One last thing.  I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a daily devotional based on the Oswald Chambers book, My Utmost for His Highest.  I could copy and paste the day's devotional over at the Clarion Call Facebook page and anyone could share their insight, feelings, ideas, emotions, etc. about each day's devotional.

If you are interested let me know.
