I may be slightly prejudiced, but my grandbaby is the cutest in the world.  He's such a happy baby!  He coos and talks and smiles almost all the time.

I thought I'd be a grandma a long time ago since I had kids at a young age.  Getting to hold Evan was a dream come true!

I put some of the pictures of him in my photo album.

Colorado is such a beautiful state.  I guess California is beautiful, too.  I'm just used to the southern half and Colorado is so different.

Now that my husband is retired I'm looking forward to being able to take a long vacation and seeing more of the country.

In my last message I shared my note I sent to companies telling them that they are authorized to speak to either my husband or myself on our accounts.  I got a few responses back.  Most companies accept what we are telling them.  Citibank, on the other hand, does not.  Citibank handles our gasoline credit cards.  They told me they would have to have a power of attorney and that we would have to submit it to them every single time we want them to speak to the person who isn't the main person on the card.

This privacy thing has gone wayyyyy too far.  The privacy act is to protect us, the consumers.  Citibank isn't protecting us.  Uh oh.  I feel a curse word coming on.  Close your eyes!
CORNFLAKES!!
Sorry.  Face looking mad
Last weekend my husband's western reenactment group, Guns and Garters, performed at Calico Ghost Town.  Here's some of the pictures I took.

Tomorrow they perform in Pioneertown, CA.  I've never been there.  It sounds like a fun place.  I'm going to try to get lots of pictures of the architecture.  I might get more ideas for our back yard.
Can you believe it is November already?  You stop paying attention for one second and the year is almost gone!

I have to start putting together my annual family calendar.  I take pictures that everyone gives me and make a calendar.  It makes shopping for Christmas much easier!

I've already gotten the big present for my sons, too.  We got them Sirius satellite radio subscriptions and the renewal is their present each year.

Last Christmas was crazy.  Charlie and I drove up to his folks' house in northern California and moved them down closer to us.  That was traumatic for all of us.

They have finally settled in and have their new doctors, their apartment decorated nicely, and are used to the new routine.  We've had two yard sales trying to sell their extra stuff.  I still have things in the garage and barn that need to be taken care of, but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
I worked on a couple of things since I saw you last.
